WM Fleet Apprentice Awards 2019

Yesterday, Kirk Trewin, Business Unit Director, Lucy Burton, Communications Officer and Neil Furniss, Training & Development Manager, from Gemini Rail Group attended the first WM Fleet Apprentice Awards at Grand Station in Wolverhampton. Gemini were a sponsor of the Awards together with CAF, Porterbrook, TXM Recruit, VivaRail, PTM Design and TRSE Engineering and we were delighted to present catergory winners with their trophies, acknowledging their achievements and congratulating them all on their success.

The main hosts for the afternoon, from WM Trains, were Gavin Thomas, Head of Fleet Production and Kevin Smith, Training & Development Manager – it was clear they had a great deal of pride in supporting their Engineers of the future, all of whom have been guided and trained by a great team of mentors at WM Trains, who were there to share in the success of their Apprentices.

A fabulous event, and one which GRG hope to support in the years ahead.
